Job description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for implementing and managing accounting and financial systems with multi-currency and international taxation capabilities within the back office. The role is crucial for supporting operations and regional expansion, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and streamlining financial processes.

  • Experience with multi-currency accounting and international taxation.
  • Knowledge of UAE regulations and requirements for target regional markets.
  • Ability to implement and manage financial systems.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Implement accounting and financial systems with multi-currency and international taxation capabilities.
  • Contribute to establishing a functional back office to support operations and regional expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations in the UAE and target regional markets.
  • Streamline administrative and operational processes to facilitate scalability.

Audit Responsibilities/Skills Required:

  • Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs):Ability to prepare and understand combined financial statements in accordance with IFRSs.
  • Financial Statement Analysis:Ability to analyze combined statements of financial position, profit or loss, other comprehensive income, and changes in equity.
  • Internal Control Assessment:Understanding of internal control relevant to financial reporting to design audit procedures.
  • Risk Assessment:Ability to identify and assess the risks of material misstatement of financial statements due to fraud or error.
  • Audit Procedures:Ability to design and perform audit procedures responsive
  • to identified risks.
  • Going Concern Evaluation:Ability to evaluate the appropriateness of management's use of the going concern basis of accounting.
  • Communication with Governance:Ability to communicate significant audit findings and internal control deficiencies to those charged with governance.
  • Review of Accounting Policies:Evaluate the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates.
  • Knowledge of Audit Reporting:Understanding of auditor's reports and the ability to interpret them.
  • Oversee Financial Managements Systems and Internal Audits of Operations
