Job description

As an E-commerce Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving forward strategic e-commerce initiatives for some of the most recognized brands in the MENA region. You will be working across a wide range of innovative and high-impact projects that position our clients as e-commerce leaders. You will bring expertise across Joint Business Planning (JBP), Distribution Strategy, Product Portfolio Management, Content Excellence, E-commerce Marketing, and Data & Measurement. Collaborating closely with both internal teams and senior client stakeholders, you will deliver best-in-class, performance-driven ecommerce strategies that go far beyond media activation.

A Typical Day Will Include:

  • Building and maintaining strong partnerships with MENA's top ecommerce platforms, including Marketplaces, Aggregators, Grocery.com platforms, Food Delivery apps, and Pureplay digital retailers.
  • Developing and executing holistic ecommerce strategies that drive transaction growth and increase market share, ensuring our clients brands outperform the competition.
  • Enhancing direct-to-consumer (DTC) performance through ecommerce acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies.
  • Overseeing and optimizing the online consumer journey to improve overall e-commerce effectiveness and user experience.
  • Managing senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on e-commerce strategy and performance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to align e-commerce strategy with media, creative, data, and analytics capabilities.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in e-commerce, with proven success in driving commercial performance.
  • Deep knowledge of the MENA ecommerce landscape, including familiarity with major online retailers and platforms.
  • Experience with the Amazon ecosystem, including campaign management and Amazon Advertising tools.
  • Strong background in e-commerce and digital retail environments.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in Arabic is a plus, but not required.
  • A passion for innovation and a fast-paced environment, with a proactive mindset and strong commercial acumen.
