Job summary

A leading company in the food delivery sector is seeking a Business Development Manager to foster relationships with top F&B brands in the Middle East. Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Establish long-term relationships with our most strategic partners, including top F&B groups and brands in the Middle East. Interact effectively with key persons (KPs) within the partner organization and have the ability to influence senior executives.
  2. Business Growth: Contribute to business strategy development and identify key initiatives that drive growth and enhance the experience for customers and merchants. Collaborate effectively with internal teams (marketing, operations, product, etc.) to allocate resources supporting growth objectives.
  3. Key Project Implementation: Proactively initiate or undertake high-priority projects such as new brand expansion, brand marketing, and promotional events to achieve effective results.
  4. Innovation and Collaboration: Explore new approaches and ideas in delivery operations with brand partners, combining insights from the local F&B industry with the value of online food delivery platforms.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in business collaboration, including roles in business development, key account sales, channel/vendor management, or project management in third-party companies. Candidates confident in handling such roles are encouraged to apply.
  2. Business Acumen: Understand the partner's operating and cost structures, and make judgments based on fundamental business principles. Experience or insights in the F&B or food delivery industry is a plus.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise internally and externally. Proficiency in English or Cantonese is preferred.
  4. Learning and Adaptability: Demonstrate strong learning ability, an open mindset, and eagerness to explore different scenarios or business models in new markets to deliver results. Fluency in both spoken and written English is required; fluency in Arabic is preferred.
