Job Responsibilities

1. Produce calculations, specifications, and drawings to ensure that technical designs provide appropriate solutions.
2. Provide technical expertise in mechanical engineering to meet project needs.
3. Prepare technical specifications, reports, schedules, data sheets, and deliverables under the supervision of senior staff members.
4. Carry out other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
5. Prepare designs utilizing BIM / Revit tools to industry standards and in accordance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
6. Understand and be aware of local regulatory requirements and codes such as DEWA, NFPA, CIBSE, ASHRAE, DM, etc.
7. Handle all aspects of mechanical engineering design as assigned by Senior Engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 1 year Middle East experience working within an international design firm, focusing on building services design.
• Preferable knowledge and experience in pipelines, VC, WO, AV, connection chambers, and pumping station works.
• Preferable knowledge and experience in the design of infrastructure works.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
