Description

Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) is seeking passionate and highly motivated faculty members. Successful candidates will deliver high-quality instruction, mentor students, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in interdisciplinary research. Faculty will have opportunities to collaborate with leading AI researchers, work on cutting-edge projects, and support the university's growth as a hub for AI excellence.

The School of Public Health aims to expand to 60 faculty members over the next 3-4 years. We invite candidates at all levels (Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor) to apply.

The school focuses on research at the intersection of Genomics, Personalized Medicine, Epidemiology, and AI. A key initiative is the Human Phenotype Project, a large-scale cohort and biobank study aimed at identifying molecular markers with diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic value. This involves comprehensive data collection and analysis using advanced AI and computational models to understand disease mechanisms and develop personalized prevention and treatment strategies. Research areas include:

Utilizing data from projects like the Human Phenotype Project, the department aims to identify risk factors, develop AI surveillance tools, and create innovative interventions. Faculty will have access to unique datasets to advance precision medicine research.
