We are seeking a Energy Transition Engineer - Customer Facing to join our Middle East Energy Transition Engineering team in Dubai, UAE. This position will play a key role in discovering sales opportunities where Energy Transition will play an important role. They will support the launch and sales growth activities of Eaton's new Energy Transition Offering.

What You'll Do

1. Deliver the budget/profit plan allocated for the Energy Transition business in the Middle East region.
2. Build strong relationships with designers, general contractors, installers, investors, and other stakeholders for ongoing projects, with support from Application Engineers.
3. Manage the complete commercial cycle from prospecting, pipeline building, proposals, and submittals to negotiations, closing orders, and order fulfillment, with support from relevant teams.
4. Develop business opportunities within various segments such as EV Retail, Facilities Management, Charge Point Operators, MEP Contractors, and other stakeholders and investors in the Energy Transition segment.
5. Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers exploring energy transition strategies across the Middle East.
6. Support the launch and expansion of energy transition projects across sectors.
7. Lead the technical engagement lifecycle from discovery and design to solution deployment and post-deployment support.
8. Collaborate internally with product, engineering, and operations teams for smooth project execution and continuous improvement.
9. Stay informed about market trends and evolving customer needs within the energy transition ecosystem.

Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (business-related education will also be considered).
2. 5-10 years of relevant experience, with a proven record of diagnosing complex customer needs, ideally in the electrical domain, but other relevant experiences are also valued.
3. Commercial experience in related fields.

Skills

1. Knowledge of products and solutions within the Energy Transition space, such as Renewable Energy concepts, EV Chargers, Energy Storage Systems, and Backend Software Platforms.
2. Ability to operate effectively and deliver results in a dynamic, technologically evolving, and competitive industry environment.
