Job description

We are hiring a talented and detail-oriented Pastry Senior CDP to take charge of a specific area within the pastry section. You will play a key role in production quality control and mentoring junior staff, ensuring every item reflects creativity, consistency, and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a pastry station and ensure smooth, timely production of desserts and baked items.
  2. Prepare and plate high-quality pastries according to recipes and presentation standards.
  3. Assist in training and supervising pastry commis and junior CDPs.
  4. Maintain stock levels, handle mise en place, and manage section prep.
  5. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and HACCP compliance at all times.
  6. Collaborate with the Pastry Sous Chef and Pastry Chef on new menu items and improvements.
  7. Uphold consistency in taste, texture, and presentation under pressure.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 3-4 years of pastry kitchen experience with at least 1 year as a CDP.
  2. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Pastry Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
  3. HACCP Certified with strong knowledge of food safety and cleanliness.
  4. Proficient in a variety of pastry techniques including dough, creams, fillings, and decorative finishes.
  5. Strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
  6. Good time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.
