Position: Cost Control Specialist

Job Responsibilities
  1. Manage cost controls and oversee variance analysis, job ledger, and cost centers review.
  2. Own P&L responsibilities within ePCSR.
  3. Oversee AP and AR processes, including invoicing, AR aging, WHT, and DSO management.
  4. Supervise employee expenses reimbursement process.
  5. Manage WBS creation, updates, and review; serve as interface between project and project accounting.
  6. Implement standard costing procedures including multipliers.
  7. Prepare and review reports such as BOC1540, VOWD, Monthly Cost Report, and SOX compliance reports.
  8. Ensure accurate reporting of actual costs and estimates at completion through cost control procedures.
  9. Oversee timesheets management for UAE & Iraq, including role changes and approval batches.
  10. Act as focal point for internal and client audits.
  11. Review and validate project contractual documents like work orders, agency contracts, ICAs, etc.
Compliance, Finance, and Operation Support
  1. Oversee project CMC and P-cards for UAE & Iraq.
  2. Manage project finance processes such as petty cash, business advances, and per diems.
  3. Conduct financial assessments during tendering.
  4. Manage work permit applications and cancellations.
  5. Lead social security registration processes with DRSS.
  6. Report WHT status weekly for Iraq portfolio.
  7. Manage compliance and oversight of waivers, vendor contracts, and business courtesies.
  8. Prepare quarterly KPIs aligned with contracts.
  9. Develop project-specific procedures for cost and finance management.
  10. Supervise, train, and support cost control and project finance teams.
  11. Participate in department audits and support ad hoc requests from BOC.
