Cargo Line is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager specializing in Sea Export Sales to join our team in Dubai. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and securing new sea export business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting Cargo Line's comprehensive freight forwarding solutions.

An Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a senior sales professional currently working in a freight forwarding company in Dubai, handling a minimum of 15 TEUs per week for clients with consistent, year-round shipping needs (as opposed to project-based volumes). Preferably, they will have established relationships with reputable traders and manufacturers. The candidate should have the experience and insight to independently identify the optimal mix of shipping lines and routing options, relying on the pricing team as a support function rather than a primary resource.

What You'll be expected to Do

  • Drive sea export sales by identifying and pursuing opportunities with clients that have steady, recurring shipping volumes.
  • Leverage your existing relationships with established traders, manufacturers, and key decision-makers to grow Cargo Line’s client base.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycles independently—from lead generation to closing—ensuring alignment with clients’ long-term logistics needs.
  • Assess and recommend optimal shipping lines and routing options based on client profiles, cargo type, and trade lanes, using the pricing team for support as needed.
  • Maintain a pulse on market trends, carrier movements, and customer shifts to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Deliver a consultative sales approach, prioritizing service reliability, cost efficiency, and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.

What You'll Need to possess:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sea export sales as a freight forwarder
  • Strong understanding of export processes, documentation, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver’s license with a car
