Activities

Join our affiliate TotalEnergies Renewables Development Middle East in Dubai! The position is based in Dubai and covers the entire UAE, Middle East, and African countries. You will be responsible for reviewing structural and civil studies, coordinating engineering reviews, and implementing HSE and quality standards for our Medium Voltage and Low Voltage decentralized production projects.

As a Design Engineer, you will:

• Support engineering reviews and related topics, including design (technical compliance), HSE engineering, and quality engineering
• Coordinate engineering reviews and participate in technical and HSE coordination workshops
• Conduct structural reports and civil studies for projects
• Support the qualification process of third-party consultants for all countries
• Ensure technical compliance of designs and materials to Total Energies standards
• Ensure the QAQC process is followed by all parties throughout the project phases
• Provide technical support to the HSE team regarding the safety of system designs

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

• Structural Engineer, Civil Engineer

Technical skills:

• 3 years' experience with structural analysis and civil studies reviews for Solar PV projects, Solar PV design, construction, testing and commissioning as well as in engineering problem solving
• Strong technical & engineering background

Computing skills:

• Design and review software (AutoCAD) and solar specific software is a plus (Homer, PVSyst and Helioscope simulation packages ...)
• Advanced MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Project, Word, Teams, SharePoint) skills for daily functions.

Languages:

• English C1
• French B2
• Arabic is a plus
