Job description

Job Purpose

Develops and implements a comprehensive and robust Asset/Function performance management framework to facilitate the achievement of business and operational objectives, continuous feedback support, information transparency, and ultimately reports the performance and productivity of the Asset/Function. Responsible for the implementation of the asset performance score cards.

Job Specific Accountabilities

Awards & Recognition

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders and arrange for the preparation of the submissions for the Award process.
  • Review the submission and attend the Judging Panel to enhance and approve the submissions.
  • Coordinate with Internal Assessors from various business units to perform the self-assessment based on various models with the ultimate goal of improvement.
  • Coordinate/ liaise with external consultants related to the External Awards.
  • Promote various excellence models similar to EFQM and embed the enablers in the existing processes for improvement.
  • Coordinate with External Awards Authorities and internal stakeholders for External Awards Ceremonies.
  • Manage the i-Exceed Internal Awards and recognition process and manage all the new proposed initiatives.
  • Prepare the External Awards & Recognition rewards scheme.
  • Implement the External Awards submission process to external authorities on behalf of submission owners.
  • Administration and maintenance of the online ADNOC Gas Awards Portal. Supervision
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.

Budgets

  • Provide input for preparation of the Department/ Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control. Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
  • Implement approved Department / Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the Department / Section’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  • Comply with all applicable legislation and legal regulations. Performance Management
  • Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Department / Section in line with the Company Performance framework. Innovation and Continuous Improvement
  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best Industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
  • Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices Reports
  • Provide inputs to prepare MIS and progress reports for Company Management 5. COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal
  • Regular contacts with concerned Manager/ VP and other team members within the division.
  • Employees at various levels up to the Department Managers and occasionally to VPs/ SVPs in all company division on work related matters.
  • Liase with technical and non-technical teams, assigned champions (submission owners) and Judging Panel members for matters related to external awards. External
  • Regular with External Assessors (SKEA, EFQM etc.) to liaise regarding Assessments.
  • Contacts with external stakeholders, ADNOC and Group Companies, Consultants, External Awarding Authorities and Business Partners.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent professional qualification

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills

6 years of experience in corporate excellence within a large industrial organization, preferably in the Oil and Gas.
