Job description

Your passion and energy will be infectious as you welcome our guests and support them through their check-in and check-out procedures. Your natural down-to-earth manner will enable you to manage guest expectations in a fast-paced and busy environment. With a keen eye for detail, you will ensure all procedures are followed meticulously. Managing payments will become second nature, and you will possess excellent data entry skills to support accurate reporting.

Main responsibilities include:

  1. Greet and welcome guests, visitors, and suppliers, answer telephone calls, and provide a warm, timely welcome in line with our brand standards.
  2. Answer guest-related queries and provide information about promotions, room rates, activities, and local events to ensure guests receive accurate information.
  3. Ensure payments are processed according to cash handling procedures and manage reservations and cancellations efficiently and accurately.
  4. Identify corporate leads and build long-term relationships.
  5. Drive online reputation by encouraging mentions and promoting customer feedback.
  6. Monitor online guest feedback and explore options for improvement.
  7. Carry out general office duties, including correspondence, emails, and filing, to ensure the smooth operation of the reception area. Maintain appropriate stock levels of supplies and stationery.
  8. Communicate effectively with all departments regarding guest requests and complaints to ensure smooth service delivery.
  9. Ensure the safety of all guests in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.
