Moove's growth has been fueled by its global partnership with Uber and support from leading investors and lenders including Uber, Mubadala, BlackRock, MUFG, and many others. Operating now in 19 cities across 6 continents—Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, South America, and the Middle East—Moove continues to expand through strategic acquisitions and partnerships with industry leaders like Waymo and Uber. The company aims to transform mobility to make it safer, more efficient, and accessible to all, while providing economic opportunities and supporting skills development in the sector.

About the Role

We are seeking a results-driven Finance & Reporting Analyst to support Moove's internal reporting and strategic decision-making. This role is crucial in preparing monthly management accounts, drafting annual financial statements, overseeing supplier payments, managing secretarial services for tax and regulatory compliance, conducting reconciliations, compiling and analyzing business unit data, and producing accurate internal reports to guide strategic decisions across the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analyses for group-level consolidation.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across various ledgers and balance sheet items.
  • Oversee supplier payments and revamp the payables function to improve efficiency.
  • Draft annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
  • Support external audit engagements and address audit queries in coordination with external auditors.
  • Ensure regulatory and tax compliance, including managing secretarial services for corporate filings.
  • Develop and update KPI dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, MSD) to track performance metrics such as cost per vehicle revenue.
  • Collect and consolidate financial data from Business Units for group-wide reporting.
  • Assist with cost structure analysis and variance investigations to support decision-making.
  • Partner on finance automation and systems improvement projects.
  • Handle ad hoc financial reporting requests from leadership and support internal controls compliance.

What You Will Need for This Position

  • More than 3 years of progressive experience in finance.
  • At least 2-4 years in financial reporting or data analysis; proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; team-oriented mindset.
  • CA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.

Key Metrics

  • Deliver 95% accurate BU data reports within 2 days of request.
  • Complete dashboard updates within 24 hours of month-end (90% on time).
  • Complete monthly reconciliations and closing activities within group timelines.
  • Maintain zero audit non-compliance issues.
  • Improve payable processing time and vendor satisfaction based on internal metrics.

Who You'll Be Working With
