Job Description

Role: Head of Wealth Products, Portfolio and Proposition

Location: Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose:

The role will be a senior position (effectively deputy to the Head of Wealth Management), overseeing wealth management products, proposition, portfolio growth, and new sales. The responsibilities include:

  • Wealth products
  • Wealth/Investment Advisory
  • Wealth Portfolio - Quality and AUM growth
  • Wealth Governance / Process Controls (with governance team)
  • Wealth Proposition

Key Accountabilities:

  • Managing wealth products, sourcing new products from third parties and ADIB Capital, and enhancing existing offerings, including client communication and portfolio updates to drive higher customer engagement and investment sales.
  • Managing the wealth portfolio across the entire segment to maximize customer returns, optimize holdings, and manage concentration risks, including monitoring customer returns, reviewing portfolio mix, and aligning with market dynamics.
  • Providing regular updates and portfolio analysis to customers, designing strategies, and conducting need analyses.
  • Developing and implementing an enhanced customer proposition based on segmentation and portfolio holdings, including setting up engagement programs.
  • Driving new wealth product sales through the RMs and investment advisors, managing sales targets, incentives, and performance reviews, and training programs.
  • Leading digital initiatives such as enhancing digital journeys, developing new digital products like crypto accounts, gold/silver accounts, robo-advisory, and customer-managed portfolios.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies, interfacing with external regulators, and exploring new business opportunities in pensions and new geographies within the GCC.

  • Familiarity with local regulations (Central Bank/SCA)
  • Ability to budget, forecast, and analyze
