Job description

Recruiting - Outstanding Learning Support Assistant Inclusion/ELL

At DBSEH, we are looking to appoint enthusiastic, engaging, and committed Outstanding Learning Support Assistant Inclusion who have a proven track record of supporting children and teaching staff. Experience of the National Curriculum for England in the UK, with additional experience in an international setting, is considered an advantage. The role involves supporting the learning and personal development of students, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL/ELL), by providing a supportive learning environment under the guidance of the class teacher and Head of Inclusion/SENCO.

Professional Requirements
  • Minimum A-Level or equivalent (certificate must be MoFA attested)
  • Flexibility in supporting various year groups
  • Ability to collaborate with the class teacher and Inclusion team to implement individual targets or strategies
  • Support students in small group or 1:1 sessions targeting specific needs; ability to plan and deliver interventions is necessary
Experience
  • Experience or aptitude for working with students with special educational needs and those acquiring English as an additional language. Previous teaching assistant experience across various Key Stages is preferred.
