Technician - Engineering Support Services

Job Description

• Record and report any vandalism that occurred and coordinate with the police department if required.
• Inspect and note the quality of maintenance performed and ensure it meets with the service level agreement.
• Perform other related responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
• Adhere to RTA information Security Policies and Procedures, related to data protection and as per approved regulations.
• Conduct field visits related to minor accidents at sites and ensure that repair operations are carried out within the specified time.
• Provide solutions to minor problems on the spot by contacting concerned authorities, contractors, and other parties involved.
• Assist in reviewing the contractors' periodic programs to ensure fulfillment of the RTA and customer requirements.
• Ensure that contractors are using approved materials while carrying out maintenance works and controlling the periodic material tests.
• Ensure availability 24x7 and immediate response and rectification for emergency works such as damage, incidents, service breakdowns, etc., and contribute to solving them.
• Attend emergencies informed by the direct supervisor and assist in solving the problem and update the direct supervisor upon the fixing of the problem.
• Ensure proper construction or installation to improve satisfactory performance from the outset, reduce maintenance, and repair requirements.
• Take photos to add as evidence to the report and to support the procedures followed in this concept.
• Follow up daily site visits plan covering various locations based on the contractor's program and direct supervisor.
• Involve in comprehensive surveys, prepare necessary reports to the direct supervisor, receive, and review daily progress reports and refer to the direct supervisor.
• Ensure compliance of the contractors and the various service bodies with the recognized systems, regulations, standards, and procedures of the work.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/Engineering High School (Technical/Industrial) 0-2 Years Experience.
• Analytical thinking in identifying, examining, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
• Problem solver who can create workable solutions and resolve complaints.
• Computer proficient with extensive experience in software covering a wide range of applications.
• An accomplished team player who excels at building trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Exceptional listener and communicator who conveys information effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Flexible and thrives in environments that require the ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
