Job Description

The Project Sales Executive will be responsible for:

  1. Generating enquiries, following up, and booking orders for retail and projects as per the division's targets.
  2. Accurately completing monthly management reports covering all activities.
  3. Following up on current leads, opportunities, and key accounts.
  4. Managing clients effectively and creating good prospects.
  5. Creating and updating reports for cross-specification among various sales divisions.
  6. Identifying qualified prospects and leads.
Desired Candidate Profile
  1. Achieve sales and gross margin targets set by management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  2. Generate sales inquiries monthly to achieve a 15-20% order booking strike rate based on assigned targets.
  3. Generate business leads for upcoming projects through regular visits to key developers, consultants, and contractors.
Customer Relations / Networking
  1. Maintain good rapport with key clients, leading consultants, and contractors.
  2. Research market conditions regarding current jobs, projects under design, and projects in tender stage.
  3. Engage with customers for feedback on competitors’ pricing and products.
  4. Understand and analyze customer needs.
Job Requirements
  1. Knowledge of Wooden Flooring, Laminates, Wood Veneer, industry trends, and competition in the assigned territory.
  2. Report to the Sales Manager, with channels for direct communication with senior leadership as needed.
  3. Bachelor’s Degree required.
  4. Highly organized and self-motivated with effective task management skills.
  5. Excellent verbal communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and relationship management.
  6. Proven ability to develop client relationships and deliver business solutions.
  7. Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills at various levels.
  8. Budgeting and costing skills.
  9. Ability to coach and guide team members.
  10. Understanding of commercial requirements like cost planning, budgets, profit and loss.
