Job Description
The Project Sales Executive will be responsible for:
- Generating enquiries, following up, and booking orders for retail and projects as per the division's targets.
- Accurately completing monthly management reports covering all activities.
- Following up on current leads, opportunities, and key accounts.
- Managing clients effectively and creating good prospects.
- Creating and updating reports for cross-specification among various sales divisions.
- Identifying qualified prospects and leads.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Achieve sales and gross margin targets set by management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Generate sales inquiries monthly to achieve a 15-20% order booking strike rate based on assigned targets.
- Generate business leads for upcoming projects through regular visits to key developers, consultants, and contractors.
Customer Relations / Networking
- Maintain good rapport with key clients, leading consultants, and contractors.
- Research market conditions regarding current jobs, projects under design, and projects in tender stage.
- Engage with customers for feedback on competitors’ pricing and products.
- Understand and analyze customer needs.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of Wooden Flooring, Laminates, Wood Veneer, industry trends, and competition in the assigned territory.
- Report to the Sales Manager, with channels for direct communication with senior leadership as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with effective task management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills for presentations, negotiations, and relationship management.
- Proven ability to develop client relationships and deliver business solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and influence skills at various levels.
- Budgeting and costing skills.
- Ability to coach and guide team members.
- Understanding of commercial requirements like cost planning, budgets, profit and loss.
- Leadership qualities, customer focus, and ability to handle conflicting priorities.
