Job description

Our Boutique Investment Client in Abu Dhabi is looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join its growing organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure that the company's internal controls are adequate, appropriate, and in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  2. Ensure that all financial reports comply with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS, IAS, etc., and are presented in a timely manner.
  3. Analyze financial statements and advise top leadership on investments and expense-saving initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CPA).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior position within a large public accounting firm, preferably the Big 4, or a large multinational corporation.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards such as IFRS, IAS, and/or GAAP.
  • Experience in financial reporting for large multinational corporations, including consolidation and combination reporting.
  • Good knowledge of investments and capital markets, both in the UAE and globally.
  • Arabic speaking skills are preferred.
