About the job

We are hiring a full-time Supply Chain Assistant to join our team. This is a unique role that will provide administrative support half time to Supply Chain (purchasing, logistics) and half time to Quality Assurance.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contact suppliers and manufacturers for inbound orders and update the ERP with expected delivery dates and lead times.
  • Obtain and create quotes for inbound and outbound shipments and source the best transportation methods.
  • Expedite the purchase order process.
  • Keep vendor information up to date in the systems.
  • Coordinate with quality and other internal stakeholders for new item introductions.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding supply needs.
  • Review quality records for final product release in our internal system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You possess the following qualifications, background, and abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative assistant role.
  • Experience working in Supply Chain/Purchasing and/or Quality environment preferred.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
  • Experience with ERP systems preferred.
