As part of our growth in the region, we are currently seeking a Civil Engineering Supervisor to join our newly established office in Dubai DMCC.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the company's Engineering Director, this role involves managing designs, supervising construction activities, and coordinating with multiple disciplines to ensure optimal technical solutions. Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Responsibilities:

• Independently carry out Civil and Structural Engineering tasks as needed and support less experienced designers.
• Supervise and coordinate external subcontracted resources for Civil and Structural Engineering work.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to enhance global project solutions and close interfaces and pending tasks.
• Oversee and coordinate Civil and Structural construction activities on-site, working alongside other teams and disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with quality and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements during engineering and construction stages, respecting local legislation and project procedures.
• Implement international specifications, standards, and codes (ASME, API, etc.) in designs and construction activities.
• Participate in and lead engineering and construction meetings, both internal and with clients.
• Prepare progress reports, inspections, and necessary documentation for project control.
• Support other departments (procurement, projects) with activities related to the discipline.
• Travel internationally as required by the project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Civil and Structural Engineering).
• At least 10 years of experience in similar Civil and Structural Engineering activities.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a construction supervisor in similar projects.
• Experience in engineering service companies for the upstream, refining, petrochemical, or chemical industries is desirable.
• Ability to lead and coordinate engineering teams.
• Extensive knowledge of software applicable to Civil and Structural Engineering (Stad Pro, CYPE, AutoCAD, FEM, etc.).
• Advanced knowledge of other common software like AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with international codes such as ASME and API.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Fluent Arabic and Professional-level English.
