Job description

The role focuses on leading business transformation projects within the organization by overseeing the execution of commercial transformation plans, ensuring effective separation of business activities, and governing the relationship with subsidiary companies to enhance financial sustainability and support the institution's strategic objectives. The manager also ensures compliance of the institution and its subsidiaries with approved franchise agreement terms, leads commercial transformation processes, and manages specialized consultants in the field. Additionally, the role includes supporting the development of the team through professional guidance, enhancing motivation, and ensuring smooth project implementation. Supervising the regular preparation of progress reports and evaluating the performance of subsidiary companies from the institution in coordination with relevant departments, as well as reviewing policies issued or amended by the management. The manager represents the management in committees for obtaining various approvals, and coordinates with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Leading business transformation projects at the organizational level to ensure the achievement of the organization's strategic objectives and the development and diversification of revenues.

2. Supervising the preparation and updating of the executive plan for business transformation in line with the investment strategy, and ensuring its implementation within specified timelines.

3. Directing work teams and specialized consultants in transformation projects, monitoring the quality and outputs of their work in accordance with the institution's requirements and scope of work.

4. Monitoring the preparation and signing of franchise agreements with subsidiary companies, ensuring their alignment with the institution's strategic objectives.

5. Supervising the management of institutional relations with subsidiary companies, and monitoring the commitments of both parties as per the agreements.

6. Reviewing financial and operational performance reports of subsidiary companies, and providing appropriate recommendations to senior management.

7. Monitoring challenges related to the implementation of franchise agreement terms and proposing suitable solutions in coordination with relevant departments.

8. Ensuring governance controls are applied to the performance of subsidiary companies, and working with technical and regulatory departments to enhance efficiency and transparency.

9. Providing professional and technical advice to the department director on specialized issues and activities related to the department's areas and expertise.

10. Advising on the department's budget preparation and its projects and initiatives.

11. Supervising the preparation and updating of policies, guidelines, and relevant processes that support the department's work.

12. Leading department-specific projects from the Roads and Transport Authority, and collaborating closely with other government authorities in Dubai.

13. Adhering to the quality standards and requirements of the Roads and Transport Authority, the institution's policies, strategic projects, and implementing duties and responsibilities in accordance with government policies and laws.

14. Representing the management in committees, and coordinating with internal and external partners.

15. Providing guidance and support for team members professional development through regular mentoring sessions and providing growth opportunities through relevant project assignments.

16. Ensuring team motivation through regular feedback and promoting a positive and healthy work environment.
