RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Oversee development and implementation of procurement procedures, ensuring alignment with project standards.
  • Manage the Project Procurement Execution Plan, updating it according to project milestones.
  • Collaborate with Licensors, Clients, and adhere to confidentiality agreements.
  • Maintain comprehensive Project Supplier Lists.
  • Input progress data into the Material Management System.
  • Develop contacts with Suppliers, upholding ethical standards.
  • Maintain professional relationships with Suppliers.
  • Stay informed about supply situations, pricing, and delivery trends.
  • Contribute to procurement strategy decisions.
  • Coordinate spare parts activities in line with the Procurement Plan.
  • Support supply chain activities, ensuring compliance.
  • Ensure setup and delivery of procurement processes and activities.
  • Prepare procurement and contracting strategies aligned with project scope.
  • Manage project/procurement status reporting and meetings.
  • Facilitate communication between Engineering, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee procurement activities, including vendor negotiations and timely delivery.
  • Maintain schedules, conduct evaluations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Expected:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field from an accredited university with at least ten years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry experience, including five years in the GCC region.
  • Experience with FEED / EPC project procurement.
  • Ability to develop negotiation strategies and lead negotiations.
  • Good understanding of project procurement processes from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of Oil and Gas supply chains or related fields.
