Qualifications

Job description

Job title: IT Digital Business Partner

Location: Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled customer-centric & Technically Hands-on IT Digital Business Partner with expertise in the setup, orchestration and management of Omni-channel platforms, integration and co-administration of e-commerce systems, development and operations of analytics platforms, and management of IT retail boutique operations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for partnering to enable the digital roadmap and enhancing the customer experience across various touchpoints, including online stores, mobile apps, and physical retail locations. Additionally, you will manage and operate the data platform(s), whilst also partnering with business stakeholders in achieving their data goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Roadmap

- Develop and maintain the omnichannel product roadmap, aligning it with business objectives and customer needs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, marketing, design, operations) to ensure the alignment of product initiatives across e-commerce and retail channels.

- Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience by integrating new technologies, tools, and features that support seamless shopping across channels.

Business Intelligence & Analytics

- Work closely with Business Teams and partner with them in modelling Data needs to co-build robust analytics solutions.

- Engage in the Developments (ETL, ELT) and Operations of the Data Platforms (Data Warehouse, Data Lake etc.) supporting Business Intelligence & Analytics.

- Govern the Security and Privacy of data and related technology supporting it, in line with the IT Cyber Security Practice.

E-Commerce & Retail Integration

- Lead the integration of e-commerce platforms with retail systems, ensuring consistency of customer experience across online and in-store touchpoints.

- Support the development of innovative solutions for click-and-collect, in-store inventory visibility, and personalized marketing across channels.

- Oversee the implementation of omnichannel features such as loyalty programs, personalized recommendations, and dynamic pricing.

- Leverage the implementation and manage the evolution of data lake and Customer Data Platform to have a centralized omnichannel customer journey mapped for campaign management.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with business stakeholders, including consumer strategy, retail operations, marketing, and IT/ERP teams, to ensure that digital solutions align with business goals.

- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT, translating business needs into actionable technical requirements.

- Present product updates, performance metrics, and customer feedback to leadership and key stakeholders.

Role - Specific Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the retail industry, particularly within boutiques, hands-on technical skills to bridge digital and physical customer experiences.
  • Experience with Hands-on capabilities, working with agile frameworks and managing digital product roadmaps in cross-functional environments.
  • Hands-on skills in developing and maintaining Data Solutions involving Data warehousing, ETL / ELT, Data Modeling & Analytics (Power BI / Tableau).
  • Highly skilled and proven hands-on experience in E-Commerce, preferably Shopify.
  • Should be a team player.
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale Operations, CRM, Digital Content & Digital Asset Management.
  • Ability to understand requirements and to think out of the box solutions.

Desired Background and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on omnichannel retail, e-commerce, and customer experience.
  • Experience in the Retail industry (preferably in luxury retail).
  • Experience in ERP such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Navision.
  • Experience in functional role in retail/omnichannel and CRM.
  • Experience in Customer Data Platforms, Data Warehouses, Data Lake (preferably Azure).
  • Experience in ecommerce platforms (preferably shopify) and Point of Sale.
  • Relevant certifications in Product Management, Agile/Scrum, or E-Commerce are a plus.
  • Certification in Power BI, Data Warehouses, Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
