Job description

Global Marketing Manager

The Global Marketing Manager plays a key role in developing the overall category strategy and global innovation pipeline, focusing on MENARP & Africa. The role involves interaction with internal teams such as Consumer & Insights, R&D, Shopper Marketing, Finance, and Country Marketing to develop the Innovation pipeline and guide global team structures to bring products to market. The manager also influences country teams to scale innovation platforms globally.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing, recommending, and leading strategy and innovation workstreams for future brand segment growth.
  2. Collaborating with R&D and CMI to create product and positioning plans, testing with consumers to validate the pipeline.
  3. Managing New Product Developments (NPDs) and Existing Product Developments (EPDs), including briefing, consumer trend analysis, coordination with market teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective development, and successful launches.
  4. Identifying and implementing profit-enhancing ideas within the brand.
  5. Initiating and managing market research projects to derive consumer and customer insights for long-term brand growth and innovation planning.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in FMCG marketing.
  • Outstanding marketing skills in brand building, activation, digital marketing, and product sustainability.
  • Proficiency in consumer insights and analytics, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing processes, with commercial awareness, P&L management, and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to craft compelling brand stories and drive marketing innovation.
  • MBA in Marketing & Sales preferred.
