Rosewood Abu Dhabi is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Engineering department within a luxury hotel, ensuring safety, reliability and the highest standard of guest experiences.

You will oversee preventive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and HVAC systems, coordinate work orders, respond to emergencies, and ensure all facilities are maintained to Rosewood standards.

Formación

• Experience leading maintenance or engineering teams in hotel/resort or similar hospitality environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical).
• Proactive approach to preventive maintenance and operational efficiency.
• Excellent troubleshooting and decision-making in fast-paced settings.
• Effective communication with guests, associates, contractors and leadership.

THE TEAM

The Engineering team at Rosewood Abu Dhabi plays a vital role in ensuring the hotel operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of luxury hospitality. Through proactive maintenance, technical expertise, and operational excellence, the team supports every aspect of the guest and associate experience.

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will work closely with the Director of Engineering, Duty Engineers, and fellow engineering associates to maintain the property's infrastructure, oversee preventive maintenance activities, and ensure timely resolution of operational and guest-related issues.

YOUR ROLE

As an Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Engineering department while leading and developing a team of engineering associates. You will oversee preventive maintenance programs, coordinate work assignments, respond to operational and emergency situations, and ensure the efficient maintenance of hotel facilities and equipment.

You will lead by example, promoting safety, service excellence, and technical expertise while ensuring all engineering tasks are completed in line with Rosewood standards.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Lead and supervise engineering associates to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards


• Monitor preventive maintenance programs for guestrooms, HVAC systems, public areas, kitchens, laundry facilities, and recreational areas


• Respond promptly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergency situations to minimize operational disruption


• Coordinate work orders, prioritize engineering tasks, and ensure timely completion of departmental projects


• Conduct inspections, inventory controls, and technical audits to maintain operational readiness and regulatory compliance


• Support team development through coaching, performance feedback, training, and adherence to safety procedures

• You possess strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
