Job summary

ACC Group is seeking an experienced QS & Estimation Engineer for E&I works in Abu Dhabi. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and conduct commercial evaluations during tender and execution phases.

The role supports bidding, budgeting, cost control, variations, and reporting to ensure competitive E&I costs across construction and Oil & Gas projects. Responsibilities include coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, and Planning teams, preparing clarifications,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
Bilingual ability not required; focus on E&I QS experience.
6–12 years of experience in QS and estimation for E&I works.
Strong knowledge of E&I quantity take-off, estimation, and cost control.
Familiarity with E&I construction methods and testing requirements.
Understanding of contract measurement practices and BOQs.
Ability to read drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, and layouts.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and estimating tools; ERP exposure is an advantage.
Good communication, coordination and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs and scope of work for E&I.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for E&I packages.
Develop accurate cost estimates, pricing breakdowns and rate analysis for E&I.
Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement and Planning to validate quantities and methodologies.
Prepare technical and commercial clarifications, exclusions and assumptions for tenders.
Assist in subcontractor and vendor enquiries, bid evaluations, and commercial comparisons.
Prepare and support project budgets for E&I scope post-contract.
Monitor E&I costs, commitments, and variations against budgets.
Track quantities executed vs planned; identify cost variances.
Support cost-to-complete forecasts and cash flow projections for E&I.
Measure executed E&I works per drawings/BOQs.
Prepare interim payment apps and progress measurement for E&I.
Identify and quantify variations and changes for E&I.
Assist in negotiations with clients/consultants/subcontractors on E&I matters.
Support subcontract scopes, BOQs, and commercial terms for E&I.
