Job description

As an E-commerce Specialist, you will be responsible for online sales strategies, conducting digital sales and conversions on marketplaces/platforms. The role involves managing and executing various aspects of online sales, from creating and updating product listings to analyzing customer behavior and developing strategies to increase conversion rates.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Resolve customer issues and comments in a timely and satisfactory manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop, monitor, write, and update product contents in eCommerce portals or websites; work with product management and sales teams to develop the eCommerce platform.
  • Lead the deployment of eCommerce initiatives.
  • Drive innovation networks by coordinating with resellers to create fit-for-channel product mixes.
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure successful delivery of business agendas.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at driving top-line growth, enhancing consumer experience, and increasing operating efficiency and/or profitability.
  • Create end-to-end relationships with suppliers and customers.
  • Collaborate internally with supply chain and marketing management to define priorities and operational goals according to brand needs.
  • Regularly audit metrics to drive quality of the vendor experience and meet targets.
  • Assist in business support based on financial analysis and reporting to identify areas of opportunity for growth.
  • Manage the launch of new products and improve product discoverability.
  • Support process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by reducing costs, defects, and lead times while increasing innovation.
  • Support the creation of high-quality website content (product descriptions, listings, images, and videos).
  • Drive customer satisfaction by monitoring customer returns and evaluating ways to reduce them.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, MBA, or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably marketing and e-commerce.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

  • Job Specific: Knowledge of e-Commerce Platforms.
  • Strong analytical abilities to evaluate potential clients, assess market trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and conditions with clients.
  • Generic Skills: Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is a plus for effective communication with local stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics, identify opportunities, and propose effective strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
