Job summary

A Dubai-based e-commerce company is seeking an experienced Accountant / Finance Executive to oversee daily accounting operations and support the organization’s financial performance. The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and ensure smooth financial processes.

We require hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and end-to-end accounting functions, with a strong grasp of accounting principles and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting/finance roles.
• Strong background in general accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing.
• Experience managing financial transactions and accurate records.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, controls, and reporting.
• E-commerce experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and financial transactions.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and perform account reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure data integrity.
• Support financial operations with strong internal controls and compliance.
• Assist in improving financial processes to support business growth.
