Overview

The Role Platform Management & Operations

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all online activities across our retail, wholesale, and mobile applications, ensuring seamless customer journeys and efficient platform performance.
  • Manage day-to-day functionality of the websites, ensuring all listings, promotions, and categories are updated and functional. Inventory & Product Data Management
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and operations to ensure accurate stock availability.
  • Support product onboarding and categorization across platforms using the CMS, including creating, updating, and maintaining product listings. Website & App Maintenance
  • Coordinate with IT and design teams to maintain and enhance website / app performance, functionality, and security.
  • Monitor load times, bugs, errors, and user feedback to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Sales & Traffic Reporting
  • Track website analytics, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics and platform dashboards.
  • Generate regular reports and present actionable insights to improve sales and traffic.
  • Build and maintain structured tracking documents using advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, dashboards, and charts.
  • Customer Experience & Order Coordination
  • Support customer service with order management, cancellations, payment confirmations, and customer account updates.
  • Troubleshoot order or platform issues in collaboration with Customer Care and Operations teams.
  • Store Communication
  • Maintain clear communication with store staff and sales managers to relay online order statuses, customer concerns, or policy updates.
  • Technology & Loyalty Program Support
  • Assist in the implementation and testing of new technologies, systems, and updates with the web development team.
  • Manage customer loyalty program features, including setting rules, troubleshooting issues, and assisting customers when needed.
  • Compliance & Data Accuracy
  • Ensure e-commerce operations comply with legal, brand, and data handling standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of content, prices, and product metadata to maintain clean and accurate listings.
  • Industry Trends & Competitor Benchmarking
  • Stay updated on e-commerce trends, customer expectations, and competitor strategies.
  • Attend webinars, courses, or workshops to enhance knowledge in e-commerce tools, platforms, and customer experience strategies.
Requirements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, conditional formatting, pivot tables, charts, and dashboard creation.
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for minor website edits and content formatting.
  • Hands-on experience with Magento and / or WordPress CMS platforms is essential.
  • Familiarity with Next.js framework is a plus.
  • Ability to work closely with web developers and relay implementation needs effectively.
  • Understanding of digital merchandising, SEO fundamentals, and Google tools (Analytics, Merchant Centre, Search Console).
  • Skilled in using the Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative tools like Google Sheets and Docs.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Business, IT, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in e-commerce platform management or digital operations.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational abilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills are mandatory— the candidate should be able to create automated reports and track performance with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
