Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Assistant Principal to join Al Ghad Charter School, Abu Dhabi, for January 2027. The role focuses on leading teaching and learning, safeguarding, and school improvement in alignment with ADEK regulations.

Ideal candidates will have a strong track record in middle leadership, data-driven decision making, and a commitment to UAE national development. A Bachelor’s (or BSc with PGCE) and a Master’s degree are preferred, with at least six years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or B.Sc. degree with PGCE required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience in education with 4+ years in teaching performance.
• Experience in middle leadership and leading school initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and quality‑assure activities of staff and students; maintain a safe, orderly learning environment.
• Collaborate with Principal and Vice Principal to supervise teachers and staff; screen and interview applicants.
• Lead school improvement efforts, assessment plans, and data reporting in line with ADEK regulations.
• Develop CPD plans for staff development and contribute to reports and policy compliance.
• Work with SLT on instructional methods, materials, and programs and support school progress.
