Job summary

International Schools Partnership - US & Canada in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Elementary Education teacher to deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum and to monitor and report student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Teaching certification/licensure valid for the location.
• Desirable additional qualifications in special education, literacy, or curriculum development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that supports diverse learning needs.
• Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to support different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Develop and maintain classroom routines that promote respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to enhance the educational experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, parent-teacher conferences, and school events.
• Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to support student learning and well-being.
• Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and professionalism.
• Identify and respond to individual needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning and engagement.
