Job Description

Job Title: Duct Technician

Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Duct Technicians to install, maintain, and repair HVAC duct systems across various projects in the UAE. The role involves working with sheet metal, duct boards, and insulation materials while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation & Fabrication:
   
   • Read and interpret HVAC ductwork drawings and blueprints
   • Fabricate, assemble, and install rectangular, spiral, and flexible duct systems
   • Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal and duct boards according to specifications
   • Install volume control dampers, access doors, and fire dampers
   • Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and weatherproofing of ductwork
   • Align and secure duct sections using flanges, hangers, and supports
2. Testing & Commissioning:
   
   • Conduct airflow balancing tests to optimize system performance
   • Inspect and troubleshoot leaks, blockages, and improper connections
   • Ensure compliance with SMACNA, ASHRAE, and project specifications
3. Maintenance & Repairs:
   
   • Perform duct cleaning, sealing, and insulation repairs
   • Replace or repair damaged duct sections, diffusers, and grilles
   • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and HVAC codes

Requirements:
Experience in duct fabrication, installation, and maintenance
Ability to work with sheet metal, fiberglass, and flexible ducts
Knowledge of HVAC standards and regulations
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and duct assembly equipment
Physical fitness to work in tight spaces and elevated areas
