Job summary

Egis Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is seeking a highly organized Traffic Coordinator to manage traffic flow for road construction and maintenance projects. You will plan, implement, and monitor TTM schemes, coordinate with project managers and authorities, and ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Civil Engineering or Transportation Planning background, 4–5 years’ experience in traffic coordination, TT M certification, and excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning or equivalent.
• 4-5 years of traffic coordination and road diversion experience.
• Knowledge of Dubai RTA standards and local traffic regulations.
• TTM certification or equivalent.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, implement and monitor TTM and road diversion schemes.
• Conduct site assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Prepare traffic management plans with signage, lane closures and detours.
• Liaise with project managers, contractors and authorities.
• Monitor traffic patterns to optimize flow during construction.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of traffic control devices.
• Conduct regular site inspections for compliance.
• Respond to traffic incidents in coordination with emergency services.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, incident reports and project updates.
• Provide training to traffic control personnel.
• Stay updated on regulations and best practices.
