Want More in Dubai seeks a passionate Sommelier to lead wine selection, purchase, storage and service in our restaurant. You will advise guests, curate wine lists, manage stock and ensure proper storage.

Ideal candidates have proven sommelier experience, deep wine knowledge, strong customer service and up-to-date industry insights. You will train staff and build strong relationships with suppliers to secure quality products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sommelier or in a hospitality/restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of wine production, flavor profiles, viticulture, winemaking techniques, pricing.
• Ability to stay updated on industry trends and new products.
• Excellent knowledge of food-wine pairings and cocktails.
• Outstanding customer service skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on wine selection based on tastes.
• Create wine lists and menus for the restaurant.
• Monitor stock levels and order wine when required.
• Ensure proper storage of all wines and food items.
• Ensure staff are knowledgeable about wines and can advise customers.
• Develop relationships with wine suppliers to secure prices on quality products.
