Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai seeks an experienced sommelier to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of wine service experience, deep knowledge of global wines, and the ability to craft customized wine menus and advise guests on selections, service methods, and food pairings.

Responsibilities include inventory management, budgeting, and ensuring responsible service in accordance with regulations, with emphasis on exceptional customer service and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a sommelier.
• Extensive knowledge of the world's finest wines.
• Ability to craft customized wine menus and advise guests on selection, serving methods and food pairing.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail and composure.
• Knowledge of alcohol regulations and responsible service.
• Strong organizational skills for inventory, ordering and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain wine inventory and order selections as needed.
• Create and update wine menus reflecting current offerings.
• Advise guests on wine choices and pairing with dishes.
