Job summary

Mira Construction in Dubai seeks a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning, commercial management, subcontracts, and financial control across high-value development and infrastructure projects.

You will protect the company's commercial interests, manage BOQs, evaluate variation orders, administer FIDIC contracts, and ensure projects stay within budget while coordinating with project teams and stakeholders in English (Arabic a plus).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in QS, CE, or construction management.
• MRICS or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of relevant UAE/GCC experience on large projects.
• In-depth FIDIC knowledge and local authority frameworks.
• Proficient in CostX, Candy, AutoCAD, Excel, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and cost plans across projects.
• Administer FIDIC contracts and advise on risk and rights.
• Oversee subcontract procurement and tender comparisons.
• Evaluate variations, EOTs, and final accounts.
• Prepare IPAs, verify payment certificates, and monitor cash flow.
• Support dispute resolution and cost audits when needed.
