Job summary

Smiths Detection, part of Smiths Group, is seeking a Junior Sales Manager based in Dubai. This 2-year contract role focuses on driving sales of security screening solutions across designated market verticals, with responsibility for end-to-end sales activities and customer relationships.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree (preferred), strong communication skills, and willingness to travel. Arabic language ability is a plus in the Middle East market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in Sales/Marketing or Business Development.
• Experience selling capital intensive, technology products/solutions.

Responsibilities

• Close new business with new and existing customers.
• Meet or exceed the sales quota for the territory.
• Create a Sales Plan for the assigned market vertical and update it annually.
• Travel on average 50% of the month to engage customers and opportunities.
• Ensure accurate reporting of sales data and forecasts.
