Qualifications

• Up to 2 years of relevant carpentry experience in the UAE.
• Retail-store carpentry or fit-out experience is preferred.
• Practical experience with wooden framing, doors, cabinets, and finishing work.
• Knowledge of common wood types and building materials.
• Able to understand simple construction drawings and plans.
• Capable of taking accurate measurements and cutting materials correctly.
• Familiar with manual and powered carpentry tools.
• Able to complete installation and repair assignments safe.
• Detail-focused and committed to high-quality workmanship.
• Capable of working independently and following technical instructions.
• Organized and able to maintain a clean working area.
• Committed to QHSE compliance and immediate hazard reporting.
• Physically able to perform routine carpentry and material-handling duties.

Responsibilities

• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, and related materials.
• Construct or repair frameworks, furniture, partitions, fixtures, and other structures.
• Install doors, windows, floors, cabinetry, and custom woodwork.
• Complete finishing activities with precision and attention to detail.
• Read basic blueprints, plans, technical drawings, and measurements.
• Confirm project requirements before beginning fabrication or installation.
• Select appropriate wood and construction materials for assigned work.
• Check dimensions and fit components accurately.
• Repair damaged wooden structures and restore their stability.
• Inspect completed work for quality, alignment, finish, and safe use.
• Operate hand tools such as hammers, saws, and measuring equipment.
• Use drills, sanders, and other power tools safely.
• Maintain tools and report damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Follow applicable building codes and workplace-safety requirements.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Sort, handle, and dispose of waste materials responsibly.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently within project deadlines.
• Follow the company 's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policy.
• Understand relevant QHSE objectives and operational targets.
• Comply with all HSE procedures, instructions, and protective measures.
• Report hazards, unsafe observations, and incidents to the line manager immediately.
