Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for primary school students.
• Teach number operations, fractions, decimals, measurement, geometry, data handling, and problem solving.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, practical activities, homework, and assessment materials.
• Set clear learning objectives aligned with the school curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet different student abilities and learning needs.
• Use manipulatives, visual resources, technology, and real-life examples to explain concepts.
• Assess student understanding through classwork, quizzes, assignments, projects, and exams.
• Maintain records of attendance, attainment, progress, and intervention needs.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Identify learners needing additional support and implement interventions.
• Provide extension activities for high-achieving students.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviour.
• Communicate student progress with parents and leadership.
