Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading Dubai healthcare facility. You will diagnose and treat pediatric patients, perform elective and emergency procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate holds MBBS/MD with a postgraduate Orthopedic Surgery qualification; pediatric fellowship is desirable and DHA license eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery as per UAE licensing.
• Fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery is highly desirable.
• Eligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/ eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions in infants, children, and adolescents.
• Perform elective and emergency pediatric orthopedic procedures within scope of practice.
• Manage congenital and developmental conditions (limb deformities, DDH, clubfoot).
• Evaluate and treat pediatric fractures, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal trauma.
• Provide surgical and non-surgical management of pediatric spinal, hip, knee, foot, and limb conditions.
• Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and postoperative care planning.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on age, condition, and functional needs.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, physiotherapists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other professionals.
• Counsel parents on diagnosis, options, risks, and outcomes.
