We're Hiring | Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive orthopedic and surgical care to infants, children, and adolescents, managing congenital, developmental, traumatic, and acquired musculoskeletal conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric orthopedic conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Perform elective and emergency pediatric orthopedic procedures within the scope of practice
- Manage congenital and developmental conditions, including limb deformities, developmental dysplasia of the hip, clubfoot, and limb-length discrepancies
- Evaluate and treat pediatric fractures, sports injuries, and other musculoskeletal trauma
- Provide surgical and non-surgical management of pediatric spinal, hip, knee, foot, and limb conditions
- Perform appropriate reconstructive, corrective, and minimally invasive procedures where qualified
- Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and provide postoperative care and rehabilitation planning
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's age, condition, and functional needs
- Collaborate with pediatricians, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide consultations and second opinions for complex pediatric orthopedic cases
- Counsel parents and caregivers regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, risks, and expected outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching activities where applicable
Requirements
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution
- Recognized postgraduate qualification in Orthopedic Surgery, in accordance with applicable UAE licensing requirements
- Additional fellowship or advanced training in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery is highly desirable
- Eligible for or holding a valid DHA Consultant license/eligibility in the relevant specialty
- Demonstrated experience in pediatric orthopedic diagnosis, treatment, and surgical procedures
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, surgical, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when working with children and their families
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
