Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon in Dubai to diagnose, treat, and manage a broad spectrum of pediatric orthopedic conditions. You will lead surgical and non-surgical care, develop personalized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes for children.

The role requires a medical degree, pediatric orthopedic fellowship, and DHA eligibility/license with 3–5 years of post-specialization experience.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS/MD) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
• Fellowship or recognized subspecialty training in Pediatric Orthopedics.
• Board Certification or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• DHA Eligibility Letter or valid DHA License as a Specialist Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon.
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in Pediatric Orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including congenital, developmental, traumatic, infectious, and neuromuscular disorders.
• Perform pediatric orthopedic surgical procedures and provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using appropriate surgical and non-surgical approaches.
• Conduct outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, emergency assessments, and operating theatre procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive orthopedic care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, continuing medical education, and departmental meetings.
• Adhere to DHA standards, applicable international clinical guidelines, and organizational protocols.
