Job summary

ApexBuild Solutions in Dubai, UAE is seeking a Pastry Chef to lead the creation, preparation, and presentation of desserts in our high-end restaurant. You will work with the Head Chef to develop menus, manage pastry inventory, and mentor junior pastry staff.

You should have a diploma in Culinary Arts or equivalent, at least 3 years of experience in fine dining, and a strong palate for innovative desserts. Fluency in English is required; French is a plus. Visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
Proven track record of creating innovative dessert menus.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent understanding of flavor combinations and techniques.
Ability to manage inventory levels.
Time management skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations.
Fluent in English; French language skills an asset.

Responsibilities

Create and prepare desserts, pastries, and baked goods to restaurant standards.
Develop new menu items and update existing menus based on seasonal availability.
Maintain pastry inventory and stock levels.
Manage a team of junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
Ensure all orders are completed on time to meet customer expectations.
Work closely with the Head Chef to maintain high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
