Job summary

CareerLink HR LLC is assisting a leading Dubai healthcare provider in recruiting a Consultant / Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon. The role covers outpatient, inpatient and surgical care in a multispecialty hospital with modern facilities and a diverse international patient population.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years post specialist certification and hold or be eligible for DOH/DHA/MOH licensing. Competitive, tax-free salary with incentives and relocation support are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years post specialist or board certification.
• Applications are welcome from physicians holding recognised Orthopedic Surgery specialist qualifications such as ABOS, Royal College Canada, Arab Board.
• Candidates must meet eligibility requirements for DOH / DHA / MOH licensing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions affecting bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles
• Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including fracture fixation, joint replacements, and arthroscopic procedures
• Evaluate and treat trauma patients, including fractures, dislocations, and soft tissue injuries
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and conservative management approaches
• Conduct preoperative assessments and postoperative follow-ups to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation specialists for comprehensive patient care
• Manage chronic orthopedic conditions such as osteoarthritis, spine disorders, and sports injuries
• Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT) for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and recovery processes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and orthopedic programs
• Ensure adherence to evidence-based surgical protocols and patient safety standards
