Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in optometry.
• License or certification from local governing board for optometrists.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams on patients of all ages.
• Diagnose vision problems using appropriate tests and equipment.
• Prescribe glasses or contact lenses as required.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment.
• Educate patients about their vision health.
