Job summary

Wood is seeking an Operations Engineer for its UAE business unit in Dubai, focusing on technical support to Operations and Maintenance activities across contracts and assets. This on-site role requires travel and reports to the Lead Operations Engineer / Operations Manager.

The role emphasizes development and implementation of O&M procedures, performance improvement, and collaboration with operations, maintenance, engineering and commercial teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering, operations, or maintenance.
• O&M field experience is advantageous.
• MEAC region project experience (2+ years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to O&M contracts, projects and assets.
• Assist with troubleshooting, site issues, and operational improvements.
• Support development and implementation of O&M procedures and standards.
• Contribute to tender and bid documentation with technical input.
• Maintain collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet KPIs.
