Job summary

Black Pearl Consult is seeking an experienced OPD Nurse for a prestigious international hospital in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering efficient, compassionate care across outpatient clinics and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform nursing duties, assist physicians, manage patient flow, and maintain accurate records using EHR systems. The position requires a BSN and active license, with 2+ years in outpatient settings; US/UK/SA-trained candidates are favored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license in the country of qualification/practice.
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in an outpatient or ambulatory care setting.
• BLS certification; ACLS is an asset.
• Preference given to nurses trained and licensed in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Adaptable, compassionate, and committed to delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in various outpatient clinics.
• Assist physicians during consultations, minor procedures, and diagnostic tests.
• Perform vital signs assessment, patient history documentation, and pre-consultation preparations.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Coordinate patient flow, appointments, and scheduling to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and uphold strict confidentiality.
• Adhere to infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and clinical quality guidelines.
• Provide culturally sensitive care and communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
