A leading company in Dubai seeks a Business Development / Client Acquisition Manager with extensive experience in Microsoft technologies and IT consulting. The ideal candidate will possess strong client acquisition skills and a proven track record in managing complex projects across various sectors including Banking, Telecom, and Oil & Gas. This role offers the opportunity to lead business development efforts and engage with high-profile clients across the Gulf region.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of IT experience, with 10+ years in Microsoft Technologies.
  • GCC experience in IT Consulting or Delivery.
  • Experience as Pre-Sales, Business Development, or Senior Accounts Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client project acquisition and manage relationships.
  • Prepare Solution Designs, RFPs, and present to clients.
  • Act as Pre-Sales / Business Development Head for Microsoft Vertical Technologies.

Dubai - Microsoft Technologies - Business Development / Client Acquisition Manager

Microsoft Technologies Vertical - Business Development Manager / Client Acquisition Manager / Senior Accounts Manager / Technology Specialist / Pre-Sales (3 positions)

Job Location: Dubai - UAE, Qatar, Oman

Desired Experience Level:

  • Overall 15+ years of IT experience
  • Minimum 10+ years in Microsoft Technologies, Business Development, Consulting, Staffing, or Delivery
  • Strong Microsoft Technologist

You should:

  • Have GCC experience (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman) in IT Consulting or Delivery
  • Possess client project acquisition skills, client relationship management, and vendor relationship experience
  • Have substantial experience with Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, BI, Cloud Azure)
  • Be capable of preparing Solution Designs, Solution Delivery, RFPs, and presenting to clients
  • Be able to secure projects based on various models:
    1. Onsite only
    2. Offshore only
    3. Onsite-Offshore Development Center (ODC)
    4. IT Staffing only
  • Act as Pre-Sales / Business Development Head for Microsoft Vertical Technologies
  • Have prior experience as Pre-Sales, Business Development, or Senior Accounts Manager

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience as a Software Engineer or Technocrat in:
    1. C#
    2. ASP.NET
    3. SharePoint Server
    4. BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI)

Business Vertical Experience:

Ideal candidates should be Microsoft Technologies experts and business managers with project acquisition experience in sectors such as:

  • Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI)
  • Government Services
  • Insurance
  • Telecom
  • Oil & Gas
  • Utilities / Government Services
  • Supply Chain / Logistics

Certifications:

Any Business or Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) and Microsoft Technology certifications are advantageous

Nice to Have:

  • Onsite experience
  • Gulf region business development experience (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar)
