Job summary

Abu Dhabi Insurance Brokers LLC in Dubai is seeking an Officer – Medical Department to evaluate medical insurance proposals, analyze health risks, and determine terms, coverage levels, and premiums.

Based in the Dubai branch, the officer will provide fast underwriting turnaround on quotations and policy servicing to support the sales team and client acquisition, while liaising between clients, insurers, and internal departments to ensure accurate risk assessment and seamless policy placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Medical Science, Business Administration, or Insurance.
• 4+ years of medical insurance underwriting experience.
• UAE experience preferred.
• Willing to work full-time from the office in Dubai.
• Ability to accurately evaluate medical information and claims history.

Responsibilities

• Assess group medical insurance proposals by analyzing demographics and risk exposure to determine premiums and terms.
• Coordinate with insurers to negotiate pricing and benefits for client proposals.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients and management.
• Monitor policy performance, claims trends, and renewals to support risk management strategies.
• Maintain strong client engagement and support the Dubai sales team in business development.
• Initiate RFQs to insurers and secure competitive terms.
• Provide fast underwriting turnaround on quotations and policy issuance.
