Qualifications

• High School Degree is required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service capability.
• Ability to engage positively with customers in a retail environment.
• Physical fitness to handle and lift stock items.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales and provide a positive customer experience within the market hall.
• Work toward meeting or exceeding weekly sales targets.
• Welcome customers promptly and create a positive first impression.
• Provide customers with current and relevant information about products and services.
• Assist customers professionally throughout their store experience.
• Arrange products and help maintain an organised sales floor.
• Keep the market hall clean and presentable in accordance with store standards.
• Participate in market hall inventories to support accurate stock levels.
• Complete additional operational duties assigned by the shopkeeper.
• Attend and participate in store meetings and related activities.
• Maintain punctuality and follow the designated work schedule.
• Follow IKEA policies, procedures, dress requirements, and operating standards.
